Description: Stacking is the second downloadable game produced by THQ and the award-winning Double Fine Productions. The adventure of Stacking requires players to capture and stack dolls together, then use each doll’s unique abilities to solve the game’s challenges. As more puzzles are solved, new dolls are acquired and the game’s visually lush, carefully constructed story unfolds.

The player controls the smallest doll, Charlie Blackmore, who is attempting to reunite his family that is being forced to work for an evil industrialist named The Baron. Charlie is able to jump inside dolls that are one size larger than him and control them, as long as the larger doll is facing away from him. If the player already controls a stack of dolls, that stack can jump into a one-size-larger doll as well.
The player can also unstack the dolls at any time in order to enter dolls smaller than his current stack. Certain unique dolls, outside of Charlie, have their own special abilities—such as the ability to unlock doors, float to higher locations, or lure other dolls around, which can be used by the outermost doll. Thus, the player must stack and unstack the set of dolls possessed by Charlie to solve puzzles throughout the game. Later puzzles may require the use of multiple dolls to combine their skills

Meet Colorful Characters, Each with a Unique Talent – Every stacking doll has a special talent/ability that can be useful in solving a challenge, or just fun to perform. “Stack” into another doll that is one size bigger or smaller to utilize their special talent.
Solve Challenges Your Way – To progress through the game and gain access to new areas, players have to problem solve their way through various challenges that include distracting a guard or get past a blocked entrance. Make conversation with nearby dolls to get helpful hints and clues. Use different combinations of special talents to find workarounds to progress in the game.
Fun for Everyone – Because challenges can be solved multiple ways, the game offers ample re-playability and rewards for core players while still being accessible to casual players.
